Make a Mark Abstracts

This is my most recent body of work, on display at Anglesea Art house, Anglesea, VIC. Created upon my move to Australia, these paintings represent the many adventures I have taken as a family exploring our new home. These expressive abstracts are inspired by the shapes and hidden colours of the landscape that would not necessarily get focus they deserve. Within the paintings I explore mark making using a variety of tools and techniques. Many of the marks created have been inspired by bushmaps and trails and aim to create subtle transitions between the layers of colour.
