Canola Fields
A part of a small series of abstracted landscapes that focus on colour and form.
This painting is inspired by the Canola Fields on the outskirts of Torquay, Victoria. My morning walks often taking me past these lush yellow fields with Canola flowers as far as the eye can see.
Painted in high quality acrylics with Posca acrylic marker details, over a heavy gessoed canvas base which creates a subtle textured surface, sealed with a semi gloss varnish to protect the surface.
Framed in a Natural Flooded Gum floater style frame by Southern Buoy.
This painting is signed on the back but also comes with artwork documents that contain a certificate of authenticity.
