Experimenting with new styles and techniques helped form this flowing contrast of colours, whilst working the painting it began to remind me of a flowing riverbed, I tried to highlight the flow with sweeping brush strokes and line to connect and emphasise this movement upon the canvas.
High quality acrylic painted on stretched canvas with oil pastel details. Thick layers of acrylic allow line details to be scored through the centre of the mountain range revealing a subtle texture that catch the eye. Bold drips also create a transition through colours, connecting and creating 'Flow'.
Sealed with a satin varnish to give a semi gloss finish.
